Mio Ohkitopi Youth Rodeo

In Memory of Payton Lane WeatherWax-Buckland

Youth Rodeo in memory of Payton Lane WeatherWax-Buckland, a young warrior whose courage, faith, and strength continue to inspire us all. Payton’s legacy lives on, not just at Hell’s Half, but in the hearts of everyone who knew him. His bravery and positive outlook throughout his battle with cancer showed us just how precious every day is.

Payton earned his Indian name, Mio' Ohkitopi - (Rides Hard), a name that perfectly captured Payton’s spirit—a warrior ready for battle, riding hard toward his enemy with unshakable confidence. Payton’s journey was filled with unimaginable strength, but it was his faith that carried him through it all.

Join us as we celebrate the Indian Cowboy spirit of Mio’ Ohkitopi—a legend, “Rides Hard”.
